City of Tamarac’s “Learn, Play, Engage” Program Launches Today

Attention parents! The City of Tamarac is launching the new “Learn, Play Engage” kids’ program today.

The program will be held at Tamarac Park; it provides students in grades 3 through 6 with the opportunity to complete their virtual schooling while under City staff supervision.

This will allow parents to go to work while knowing that their child(ren) are in a safe place, interacting with peers while observing social distancing.

Key Details

  • Dropoff is from 7:30 am to 7:45 am
  • Learning takes place from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Activities and crafts are offered from 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm
  • Fee:
    • $130 per week for residents
    • $150 per week for non-residents
  • Registration: First-come, first-served basis
