Tamarac Vice Mayor Marlon Bolton sat down recently with Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus McCormick via his podcast, “Conversations with Marlon Bolton,” to discuss how her work benefits the residents of Tamarac and the surrounding communities.
During the conversation, Congresswoman McCormick discussed her efforts to secure federal funding to address the attainable housing crisis across South Florida, and funding for first-time homebuyer programs, infrastructure projects, and food insecurities.
She also spoke about her work to support small businesses in the area, including advocating for policies that create a more hospitable environment for entrepreneurs and working to secure grants and other resources to help small business owners succeed.
