Tamarac’s Parks and Recreation Department schedules many events throughout the year. These events fit with the city’s goal of “building community through enriching experiences.” Events are designed to be family-friendly.
One such event is the upcoming Drive-In Movie Night, scheduled for next Friday, October 2, where “Haunted Mansion,” starring Eddie Murphy, will be showing. At only $5.00 per vehicle, this is a great entertainment value for the whole family.

- Movie starts at 7:30 pm

- Space is limited

- Please stay in your car unless using the restroom and please wear masks while outside of your vehicle. Concession will not be available. Please bring your own snacks.
- A free bag of treats will be provided for each car ($5 value)
Later in the month, plan on attending the “Drive-Thru Halloween Haunt.” You’ll enjoy spooky characters, decorations, and music while driving through the park. Be sure to stop and grab a free bag of candy along with other treats.
