CodeRED: Stay Informed About Emergencies
Are you signed up for CodeRED? The CodeRED system, managed by Onsolve (which bills itself as “The Nation’s #1 Public Alerting Application”), is a mobile app with hundreds of thousands of users across the country and many more around the world; their services are available in over 170 countries. Onsolve’s “Send Word Now” is a recipient of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Small Business Achievement Award.
Subscribing to the City of Tamarac’s CodeRED alerts means that you’ll be notified in the event of a critical emergency, such as evacuation notices, boil water orders, and missing child reports.
You can enroll in CodeRED alerts as a guest, but creating an account gives you the flexibility to modify your existing notification settings and contact information in the future; you may also add an additional address.

Notify Me: Keep Up to Date on Many City Happenings
From Housing programs to summer camps to public meetings to news from Tamarac’s Mayor or your district Commissioner and just about everything in between, it’s quick and easy to sign up for “Notify Me” at https://www.tamarac.org/list.aspx.
Once at the site, just type in your email address and choose “Sign In.” You can also opt in to receive text messages by providing your phone number. Subscribing or unsubscribing to any of the many alerts available is easy to do.
Both of these systems are a great way for you to stay involved and informed about what’s happening in Tamarac.
