City Offices Closed for Patriot Day, 9/11/2026
In observance of the holiday, City offices will be closed. Park and City facility hours may also be adjusted and are subject to change.
Tamarac Fire Rescue Memorial
Tamarac Fire Rescue will raise the American Flag above the City’s Firefighter Memorial at Fire Station 15 in remembrance of those we lost and the first responders whose courage defined that day.
Residents and community members are invited to stop by, reflect, and feel free to place a small American flag in the grassy area surrounding the memorial as a personal tribute.

Brick by Brick – S.T.E.A.M. LAB
Join Bricks4Kids for this exciting Lego STEAM introductory class, where creativity meets learning!
Children will have the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) through hands-on LEGO building challenges which are designed to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Whether your child is new to Lego STEAM or is looking to expand their building skills, this fun, interactive class is a fun, engaging experience in a supportive environment.
The full Lego STEAM program is expected to begin this October, so this is a great chance to see what to expect before the official program launch.

The Tamarac Community Farmers Market is a great place to shop for baked goods, fresh produce, honey, hummus, pickles, sauces, tea, and many other artisanal goodies. You’ll also enjoy meeting the producers and sampling their locally prepared, all natural products.
