After a long wait, the City of Tamarac is resuming the Community Farmers’ Market. For now, the Market will be open on Sundays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
The Market is located at Veterans’ Memorial Park, a passive park where you can view the open space along a canal, use the small boat-launching ramp, and enjoy the gazebo as well as the Tamarac Veterans Memorial. You can also take a moment and view “In the Spirit of Peace,” the inspirational eternal flame public art sculpture by local artist Beth Ravitz.
The park is located at 7825 Southgate Blvd., Tamarac, FL 33321.
If you’re planning to visit the Community Farmers’ Market, be sure to wear your facial coverings and observe social distancing requirements. You can shop for fresh produce, honey, sauces, and other artisanal goodies.
Remember that for now, other than the Farmers’ Market, City parks remain closed on Sundays.
