The City of Tamarac is launching the “Connectivity and Technology for Employment Support” program, in partnership with T-Mobile.
The purpose of this program is to provide connectivity technology to residents impacted by COVID-19. This program will support job search and employment support.
Program participants will receive mobile devices and connection for two years, in order to help with their job and employment searches.
The devices support many email platforms, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Each device has a camera, a fast-charging battery, and an expandable memory.

Emergency Repair Grants
The City of Tamarac is offering emergency repair assistance to Tamarac homeowners suffering financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. This program provides for major repair assistance, for example roofing repairs, as well as any other components deemed necessary by the inspector.
Residential Assistance Program – Round 4
The fourth round of this program will continue assisting residents with mortgage, rent, and utility payments. This round will remain open until funds are expended, and is being administered by the City of Tamarac with the assistance of a consultant, Civitas, LLC, a national community development consulting firm based in Charleston, SC. Civitas bills itself as a company committed to helping “government, non-profit and for-profit enterprises solve problems and implement solutions.”
