While many “in person” activities are still on hold due to the pandemic, Tamarac offers several virtual activities for kids and teens.
Here are three that are currently open for registration:
Ballet
- Description: Learn basic and advance dance steps and routines in this terrific dance program
- Dates: 9/5/2020 – 9/26/2020
- Times: 10:00 am – 11:00 am

- Ages: 3-12

Hip-Hop Dance & Cheerleading
- Description: Learn hip-hop dance moves and routines, along with a variety of cheerleading routines, tumbling and more in this great dance class offering a variety of dance moves
- Dates: 9/5/2020 – 9/26/2020
- Times: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Meet Days: Saturdays
- Ages: 5-12

Cooking
- Description: Participants will learn cooking basics and eat their creation at the end of each class.
Skills include:
- Reading recipes
- Measuring wet and dry ingredients
- Food safety
- Basic knife skills
- Dates: 9/8/2020 – 9/29/2020
- Times: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Meet Days: Tuesdays
- Ages: 7-12
