Last week, we brought you a brief overview of some of Tamarac’s Capital Improvement Projects. This week, let’s take a look at some of the current development projects approved, under review, or underway throughout the city. There are over two dozen projects in various stages; here are just a few.

Where: 10000 West McNab Road (South side of McNab Road just west of Nob Hill Road)
Details: 7500 square feet of retail
What: Woodlands Residential Development
Where: Between West Commercial Boulevard and NW 44 Street and NW 64th Avenue and Rock Island Road
Details: Land Use Amendment, Rezoning, Site Plan, Plat

What: Tamarac Circle
Where: North of Commercial Boulevard on the West side of Rock Island Road
Details: Five new single-family homes
What: Safe & Secure Self Storage
Where: 8301 West McNab Road
Details: Major Revised Site Plan permitting the construction of a 91,000 square foot self-storage facility
