According to “The Real Deal,” 13th Floor Homes will be developing a community of homes on former Tamarac golf courses. The plans, which have been in the works for several years, are now moving forward.
Recently, the Broward County Commission approved the company’s plan to rezone the two golf courses at the Woodlands Country Club (at 4600 Woodland Hills Boulevard) and build nearly 400 single family homes.
The plan, first announced by 13th Floor Homes in 2017, originally included plans for 525 homes priced in the $300,000s; each home was expected to have a minimum of 2,000 square feet and at least three bedrooms.
The new plan includes over 150 acres of preserved open space; this open space will include a new clubhouse, new lakes, and a five-mile recreation trail.
13th Floor Homes, whose motto is “Building Communities Centered Around You,” has built other developments in Tamarac, including Manor Parc (currently sold out) and Hidden Trails, which won the 2020 Prism award for “Community of the Year” from the Gold Coast Builders Association. 13th Floor Homes also sponsors a “Local Legends” program, which “thanks teachers, nurses, police officers, firefighters and military personnel with a credit at the time of closing on their new home for their dedication and inspiration to every one of us.”
