The Final Public Budget Hearing will take place on Tuesday September 29 beginning at 5:05 pm. This hearing is the public’s final opportunity to voice their opinions on the proposed Millage Rate as well as the Operating and Capital Budget.

Currently, the total tentative budget for FY 2021 is $184,292,023, which includes $417,242 from Community Development Block Grants.

A Brief Overview of Tamarac’s Management and Budget Services Department
The Management and Budget Services division administers Tamarac’s budget development process as well as its six-year asset management program.
In addition, the Division is responsible for:
- Preparing the City’s budget as well as two forecast years
- Applying for and administering grants
- Managing several assessment programs:
- Fire Rescue
- Solid Waste
- Stormwater Management
- Nuisance Abatement
The Division also supports other departments by providing the following services in support of City operations:
- Financial planning, analysis, and forecasting
- Program evaluation
- Management analysis
