While as of this writing, we are under a Hurricane Watch and it sometimes feels as if our “winter” will never arrive, we are mostly guaranteed that soon, we will be enjoying the cooler, drier air that makes South Florida winters so delightful.
And one of the most enjoyable activities on a sunny, dry, cooler weekend day is to visit local farmers’ markets. Lucky for us, Tamarac has its very own. Billed as “a great place to shop for fresh produce, tea, honey, sauces, baked goods, hummus, pickles, and other artisanal goodies,” it’s also an opportunity to “Meet the producers and sample their locally prepared, all-natural products.”

While the Farmers Market is year-round, the pandemic certainly put a dent in many local activities. Now, however, the market is back, and it’s a great way to spend some time enjoying local goods and our cooler weather.
